Patient Care

A great team leads to great outcomes when it comes to hair restoration.

The team at The D’Souza Clinic have worked together for many years and with hundreds of clients. We focus on personal care that really is personal, our aim being to always make your journey to better hair a truly pleasant one.

Before your treatment

Let’s talk about your hair.
We find your overall experience and final results are so much better when you talk to your surgeon, and not to a sales person. That’s why Mr D’Souza always consults personally, one to one, with every client before any further steps are taken.

During your consultation, Mr D’Souza will take your full medical history to determine the likely cause of your hair loss and confirm if you might be a candidate for hair transplantation. Surgical and Non-surgical options will be discussed and the best way to move forward will be suggested.

If surgery is an option your treatment plan will be tailored to you – the pros and cons of FUT and FUE will be discussed in detail, along with graft numbers and likely costs.

All surgeries booked include all follow up appointments which are routinely scheduled at 6,12 and 18 months post.

We have an open door policy for all previous patients and of course each patient will have Mr D’Souza’s personal number in case of need.

The D’Souza Clinic is a bespoke clinic tailored for hair restoration surgery and you’ll be Mr D’Souza’s only patient of the day, so you’ll receive his personal attention at all times. He’ll extract every graft himself.

Two weeks before your procedure date you’ll get a date and time confirmation email, along with some pre-operative information. One week before the date we’ll call to check everything is okay and answer any last questions or queries.

On the day

First, you’ll see Mr D’Souza to be briefed and we’ll take some photographs for before and after comparison.

The whole procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and is pain free. The time taken is different from person to person and depends on whether you are having FUE or FUT as well as the number of grafts involved. Many patients bring something to listen to and help pass the time.

Once the surgery is finished a light dressing is applied and Mr D’Souza will go through your post-operative care. You’ll also get a post op bag which includes everything you need for your recovery.

If you’re not being collected after, we can arrange a taxi for you.

Aftercare

You’ll be called the next day for follow up. If you had FUT and want your stitches to be removed by The D’Souza clinic we will make an appointment for you.

All patients are routinely seen at 6,12 and 18 months post op.

After your surgery, it’s important to stick to the post-operative instructions given so if you have any questions please ask.

We recommend you take a week off work, if possible.
