The number of grafts recommended and price can vary from clinic to clinic. The outcome depends on the skill of the surgeon and the team, not the number of grafts. The art of hair restoration is to use your grafts as a precious commodity, using no more or less than required to get the best aesthetic result.
Initial consultation for Hair Transplant Surgery
During your consultation Mr D’Souza will discuss your symptoms and clearly explain all treatment options available before recommending the best option for you.
We offer both methods of surgical hair restoration (FUE and Strip FUT) as well as advice on the full remit of non-surgical treatment options, so you can be sure that our recommendations are unbiased in choice, medically sound and founded in the desire to offer the best possible aesthetic outcome based on your specific circumstances.
Following your consultation, a detailed treatment plan with dates and pricing will be provided for your approval.
The price for an in-person consultation with Mr D’Souza is £100, which is fully redeemed if you proceed with hair transplant surgery.
We also offer video consultations with Mr D’Souza for those who would like an overview of all the treatment options available. Video consultations are £50.

Surgical Treatment
Our commitment to exceptional patient care means we only perform one surgery each day, so you have the entire clinic dedicated to your treatment and the full attention of Mr D’Souza and his team of expert hair transplant surgical assistants until your surgery is complete.
The entire procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and will be completed in a single day. The time taken varies from person to person and depends on the type of surgery and number of grafts transplanted.
Most patients like to listen to music or watch TV to pass the time, the nature of the treatment means you can answer emails and talk to family during the day.

Aftercare
As a patient of The D’Souza Clinic, you’ll have lifelong access to our clinic and exceptional patient care from Mr D’Souza and his expert team.
Once the surgery is complete, a light dressing is applied and Mr D’Souza will guide you through the post-operative care instructions.
We’ll provide you with everything you need for your recovery at home, and we’ll be on hand to answer any of your questions at any time, either on the phone or at the clinic.
We will:
- Speak with you the day after your hair transplant surgery to make sure you are recovering well and answer any questions you may have.
- Invite you to the clinic for 6, 12 and 18-month post-operative reviews with Mr D’Souza to check on your progress.
We recommend you take a week off work, if possible, and if you had Strip FUT surgery you will have stitches which we will remove for you.
Prices include our patient care pack, 24/7 aftercare with Mr D’Souza and follow-up appointments at 6, 12 and 18 months after your surgery.
Non-Surgical Treatment
It may be a better option to treat your hair loss with medication. If this is the case, we will advise you on the best treatment available and arrange a follow-up appointment to keep a check on your progress. We can arrange and deliver the whole process from the clinic if you want your treatment to be in professional hands.
