Thomas’ photos from the day of surgery
Christopher’s Comments
Thomas is a 46 year old gentleman who presented with a 10 year history of slow, progressive hair loss consistent with a diagnosis of male pattern hair loss. He was already aware of the non-surgical side of hair restoration and was using medication to prevent hair loss. He did not want to change his overall look, but was interested in obtaining a subtle improvement, where we would retain the shape of his existing hairline and increase the density to both the frontal half and crown.
We performed a FUE procedure of 2176 grafts. For this case we used a 0.9mm punch. The breakdown of the 2176 grafts extracted was, 266 – 1 haired follicles, 1241 – 2 haired follicles and 669 – 3 haired follicles. That is an average of 2.2 hairs per graft.
I will see Thomas at his routine follow up appointments at 6,12 and 18 months post op to check on his progress and update accordingly.
