Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is relatively new and has become an increasingly popular method of treating male and female pattern hair loss.

Blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge and the platelet rich fluid injected into the scalp.

The exact way PRP stimulates hair growth is still not fully understood and there is some debate amongst surgeons on how often and much PRP should be injected.
