Hair transplant surgery
Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) are the two main surgical techniques used in modern day hair restoration surgery.
We have extensive experience in both so we can give you an unbiased medical opinion on which type of surgery might be best for treating your hair loss.
Medication
Medication can be useful to preserve and strengthen your existing hair, and in certain cases can negate the need for surgery altogether.
Most of our patients use medication to stabilise their hair loss. This is especially important in younger patients who may not yet be ideal candidates for surgery.
The most common options are Minoxidil (Rogaine) and Finasteride (Propecia). Each has benefits and possible side effects so you should consult a specialist before beginning treatment with either.
Scalp Micropigmentation
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a cosmetic treatment to camouflage hair loss. Similar to a tattoo technique tiny dots of pigment are artistically placed on the scalp to recreate either the look of a shaved head or to disguise thinning hair.
Low Level Laser Therapy
Low Level Laser Therapy works by using a laser light to increase blood flow to the scalp and stimulate cell metabolism. We recommend at home devices which are cap based as opposed to comb based.
